Indigo favours Seisa for the run to Gove or waiting to head South. Good anchorage but if congested it's better to anchor off. The ladies will swoon over the supermarket , that is , if you've been in the Gulf too long !
All you need before a crossing, or just a great place to hang out.

We're on our way from the east coast over to Darwin & instead of putting in at TI as intended, we continued south to Seisia, just around the tip. Thus avoiding any issues of quarantine, which we'd heard about but never quite fully understood. From Seisia we could take the ferry over to TI, do a tour of the island, spend some time, & have a beer at Australia's northernmost pub. The anchorage at Seisia was excellent - none of the current issues like on Horn Is or TI. Super easy to get jerry cans of diesel - the awesome dude at the servo (Silver) gave us a lift back to the dinghy. Supermarket all good & not too exxy. Only tip - get any grog on TI - heaps cheaper than Bamaga (closest place to Seisia to get supplies). Showers - free!! & washing $3 a load at the van park. Water from a number of places, caravan parks etc. The boat club does a mean burger & super cold beer Fridays, maybe Sat too, dunno! BTW - Best radio station we've ever come across 4MW 1260AM, seriously. The. Best.
