Travelling north this year in July stopped Cape Capricorn as an alternative anchorage than going Gladstone then Narrows. Arrived late in the day. Anchored as close to rocks as possible. This was our second visit so we

knew it could get fairly roly. But there was no wind so thought may be ok. Well we rolled side to side all night, nearly tossing us outta bed. We were moving on next day so guess one night of discomfort is bearable.
Walk to the top of the Cape is breathtaking.
Kinda small area, maybe only fit maximum 6 boats.
