The marina is loaded with restaurants and bars. Speciality shops are also located on the marina and a variety of fishing charter boats, Dolphin & Whale watching vessels are also berthed here. A chandlery and boat sales office are also present. The marina hosts a variety of festivals throughout the year with live music completing the wonderful ambience of this location. The marina lies adjacent to the Nelson Bay township accessible via a short walk through the park.

Great marina with good cafes and s few shops. Parking is okay. Good boating facilities. Fridays they have local markets. Was expecting some boating things in the markets but unfortunately was more boutique and hand made jewellery type of markets.
