Every job was done once and done perfectly

Phillip Grove
Reviewed Dec 2016
Adam Ross has taken care of my beautiful Sydney 39 CR Huntress since I bought her 4 years ago. Every job was done once and done perfectly. I wouldn’t let any other shipwright near her. I try to maintain her to a very high standard and have been fortunate to win the Port Stephens Commodore’s Cup twice, Airlie and Hamilton race weeks performance racing, the RSYS Div 1 Winter Series and most recently the CYCA Winter Series Div B. Adam and the crew at ARMS have played a big role in that success.

ARMS has been maintaining and modifying my yacht for 4 years and the work has always been to a high specification and meticulously executed. Recent works included conversion of a canting keel and a complete respray. I would not hesitate to recommend ARMS for work big or small.

Skilled and meticulous

Leanne Gould
Reviewed Dec 2016
Since 2013 Adam Ross and his team have been looking after my 1960 classic timber yacht. The boys have completed major restoration projects on my boat including; steaming, nail and roving fifteen sister ribs, refastening the garboard plank, designing and building a new rudder, extensive rot repairs to deck, transom and topsides and sanding the deteriorated bright work back to bare wood and applying seven coats of varnish. Adam has excellent communication skills and can explain a range of solutions and costs so you can make decisions based on your budget. Adam and his team are a rare find in this modern age. They are good old fashioned craftsmen you can trust. Skilled and meticulous, they can fix any problem without it costing the earth. The quality of the work has all been first class I am thrilled with the excellent results at a reasonable price.
